The Story:
Give us a break already! What is this nonsense about not being able to park on the driveway and getting citations for blocking the sidewalk. THey take great pains to perform a "sweep" of entire blocks and issuing tickets to all the cars on the block for the same offense. And to top it off, they now include a courtesy note that your can't be on the sidewalk (property line to the curb). When you ask them where is the property line, they state that it's at the end of your stairs. The real property line for where we live is 120 ft from the rear fence, placing it 12 ft (4 squares from the curb). Based on that, almost all the cars issued tickets that day are well within the line. Unless the SFMTA wants to stripe the property line for us, they need to stop issuing stupid tickets.

Please don't block the sidewalk. You're degrading not only my neighborhood (Inner RIchmond) but disrespecting pedestrians who use the sidewalk.
I'm already starting a petition with my neighbors to complain about people illegally building fenced areas on the public sidewalk to hold their trash receptacles. Think about your neighbors and the city. Please keep the sidewalks clear so we can all enjoy the neighborhood.

I grew up in SF and know how the city is being ruined by "all about me" jerks like you who have no consideration for others. (you're well deserved ticket and response are a great illustration)
You want to punch a 23 year in the head? Maybe a ticket is the least you deserve.
