The Story:
The ticket was issued less than FIFTEEN minutes after I had parked in the spot, in a 2-hour parking zone. The ticket claims that my car was checked at the spot at 11:10AM, which is entirely false, because for the 2 hours prior to my arrival at that parking spot, my car was parked across town at a parking meter in the Castro. There were definitely no chalk marks on my tires (how could there be?), so I'm not really sure how/why the parking officer could have thought it had been there for more than two hours. I parked in a 2-hour spot at 1:15PM, and got a parking ticket at 1:27PM. Ridiculous.
I think you may have parked in one of those special 10 minute zones. There are only a few in San Francisco. I really think they were created to trick the motorist. You should return to the location and check for a 10 minute zone.
