San Francisco DPT hands out a whole lot of parking tickets. Most are entirely warranted, but many are completely erroneous. At DPT watch, we're tired of seeing illegitimate tickets getting issued and paid in the complete absence of any recourse. We've developed this site to start tracking DPT officers and holding them accountable for the faulty, unjustified, or downright negligent tickets they issue. Tell the DPT they're being watched.

The bottom line is that though parking enforcement is important, and even pays for some city services; public servants should never be allowed to be dishonest or complacent. The people of San Francisco have better things to do with their time than fighting parking tickets. We're keeping some of this information publicly accessible, including which officer handed out the ticket, and at which meter (where applicable) the ticket was issued.
